This is my chinchilla, Chalupa, opening a jar. I don't know how he learned how to do this, he has just always been able to and I think it's amusing. People keep mentioning that I loosened the lid - I did this because it was too tight for him to unscrew but it was still on there, it just wasn't as tight :) I haven't updated in quite a while. Chalupa had to be put down 1/1/09 due to malocclusion. Despite frequent vet visits, he was not improving. He was loved and is missed!
